Vision Statement of Knox Community Schools
Knox Schools are schools of choice where all students learn in a comprehensive, rigorous, and technologically current educational environment. Student-centered programs develop leadership skills and the individual interests of the students. Students are supported by personnel with high expectations and integrity.
Effective communication, positive interactions, and transparent, fiscally responsibile decisions form a relationship of trust and respect between the school and community. Prioritizing and maintaining a safe, productive learning environment make Knox Schools a source of pride in the community.
School Messenger is an automatic notification system that will allow Knox Schools to notify parents, students and employees, via e mail, telephone, cell phone or text message.
The notification system will be used primarily for weather related situations such as school delays and closings.
All parents and students that wish to be a part of this system should make sure the school has their current phone number, cell phone number and e mail address.
The automated text messaging system will require the recipient to approve receiving text messages from our system.
If you have not received a text message asking for your permission to receive future text from the school, you should contact the appropiate building office to be included in the texting part of the system.
If you have further questions, please contact your school building principal.
