The Knox Community School Corporation announces the following dates and times for registration for the 2024-2025 school year. Please contact the individual buildings should you have any questions regarding registration.


KNOX ELEMENTARY SCHOOL (KES): (PK-4)    Tuesday, July 16       8:00 A.M. - 3:00 P.M.

ALL NEW STUDENTS TO THE KNOX COMMUNITY SCHOOL CORPORATION SHOULD BRING THE FOLLOWING TO REGISTRATION

1. Social Security Number
2. Birth Certificate
3. Immunization Records
4. Proof of Residency (household bill within the past 90 days with current address)

GENERAL INFORMATION

 
1. Transfer students should have copies of their previous school records and/or transcripts or parents will be asked to sign a release of records form.

2. Students enrolling in kindergarten must be five years old on or before August 1, 2024.

3. Immunizations are available at the Starke County Health Department located at 108 N. Pearl St. every Tuesday from 10:00 A.M. to 11:30 A.M. & 1:00 P.M. - 3:30 P.M. Immunizations are given on a first come, first served basis. Please call the Starke County Health Department at (574)772-9137 to schedule an appointment and obtain information on fees for immunizations.

4. Applications for Free or Reduced lunches/breakfasts may be made at registration. This does not include additional fees.

5. Students who will be riding buses should be at their bus stop earlier than normal for the first few days until transportation routes are finalized. Please call (574) 772-1612 for transportation questions.
