Return to In-Person Learning Plan


As a recipient of federal funds under the ESSER III grant, Knox Community School Corporation is required to update the return to in-person learning that was created in School Year 2020-2021. The following update outlines how KCSC will continue its return to in-person instruction for the 2023-2024 school year and beyond.

Knox Community School Corporation conducted school through an in-person learning environment available for all students throughout the 2020-2021 school year while also offering a virtual option for any student whose family selected. In the 2021-2023 school years, Knox Community School Corporation offered only an in-person learning environment, and all preventative and mitigating efforts to host in-person instruction safely were successful. For the 2023-2024 school year, the in-person learning environment with mitigating and preventatives measures, frequent hand washing and sanitizing, utilization of effective and frequent cleaning strategies, as well as proper maintenance and function of HVAC systems, will remain in order to maintain the healthiest environment possible for students and staff.  No virtual learning environment will be available for students for SY 2023-2024....
